Protecting Youth Through Safer Sports and Outdoor Participation
Athlete Recovery Coalition (ARC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving safety, access, and injury prevention for youth participating in sports and outdoor activities. We work alongside communities, event organizers, and partners to help young athletes stay active, confident, and protected.
What We Do
ARC develops and delivers injury prevention and on-site care programs designed to support safe participation in youth sports and outdoor activities. Our work focuses on reducing preventable injuries, improving immediate access to qualified care, and educating athletes, families, and coaches.
Our programs are delivered through partnerships with leagues, schools, municipalities, and event organizers to ensure safety support is embedded where it matters most.
Why It Matters
Youth sports and outdoor activities provide critical physical, social, and emotional benefits. However, access to injury prevention resources and on-site care is often inconsistent—creating unnecessary risk and barriers to participation.
ARC works to strengthen the systems that protect youth participants so families can feel confident and young athletes can remain engaged in movement and sport.
How We Work
ARC collaborates with community organizations, host events, and local partners to deliver programs in a way that is practical, scalable, and responsive to local needs. Services may be provided during single events, across seasons, or through ongoing partnerships depending on resources and community priorities.
Get Involved
ARC’s work is made possible through partnerships, grants, and community support. Whether you are an event organizer, community partner, or supporter, there are many ways to help advance youth safety and access to sport.
